Well, in the spirit of PSA's, I thought I'd upload ours as well. Hopefully my group members don't mind. Enjoy!

SC: Mom
She heard his voice, but her face held no recognition.
MOMMY!!!
He knew she wouldn't come. She hadn't for the last 10 years. Still, he tried.
She was falling into a haze... a perfect world of white. Soon, she had no memory of the voice at all.
It was never going to end. But he would find a way out. That much he knew.

Both 8J and 8H were asked to create public service announcements for a media literacy assignment. These are two examples. (They were on Youtube, so it's not a violation of privacy!)

SC: Check-Out
"That will be $27.96, sir."
But he wasn't paying any attention. All he saw was her.
How could this possibly be? That's impossible! But that hair... I'd recognize it anywhere.
"Umm... sir?"
I... I can't believe it! I don't know what to say! After all these years, I've finally f-
"Sir, your groceries!"
"Oh... I'm so sorry! Hey are you M-"
That's when he saw the band of gold on her finger, holding a single delicate diamond.

SC: The Last Day
From now on I've decided that I'm going to start a new series called the SCs, or Short Clips. These are - believe it or not - inspired from one of the actual English classes we had a long long long long long time ago... anyways, they are just a few lines long, stray thoughts that wander into mind. Usually they will be cliffhanger - meaning you decide what to make of it. Leave comments as to what you think. Here's the first one (titled The Last Day):
"I'm sorry," she said, tears pouring out of her beautiful hazel brown eyes.
"What... what is this?" I asked, frozen to the sidewalk with disbelief.
But she said no more. Sobbing, she ran off, leaving me feeling like my heart had been ripped from my chest. I knew it was the end.
I watched her figure disappear into the horizon. Suddenly she turned to say a few words, but all was lost as a truck rumbled by, drowning out all sounds temporarily. I wanted to cry, to scream out, but the ground rose up to greet me, and all was dark.
